Children are full of curious questions and our actors delight in providing them with answers. It is a long-standing tradition at The Rose to give kids an open and honest look at how we create the magic they see on stage. Q&A sessions take place on the mainstage after each performance.
If your child still has questions after the show, we invite you to view photos taken during the production process on our website and Facebook page and to send us your questions online or by mail.
The Rose emails Going to The Rose guides to ticket holders before each show. The guide contains a story synopsis, character information and helpful information about the show’s content. To receive this guide, be sure to provide your email address to the Box Office when purchasing tickets.
The best part of seeing a live show is the anticipation leading up to the performance and the after-show discussion on the way home. To help you guide your family’s conversation about each show, be sure to visit our Facebook page for post-show discussion ideas and other activities you can do at home to keep the magic alive.
A trip to the theater can be overwhelming for younger audience members. We offer a noise-proof Restless Room with a live video feed of mainstage shows that may be used at any time during the performance. The Restless Room is a special place where kids can wiggle, talk, play and just be a kid -- without disrupting those around them.
Free booster seats are available for mainstage shows, compliments of Target. The seats are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis in the lobby. A photo ID is required as a deposit. You are also welcome to bring your own booster seat.
