Young, Gifted, & Black is an ensemble of African American youth that explore issues by performing the works of African American playwrights. This year’s piece, The Journey Back, is a collection of poetry, prose, music, and dance from the African American perspective. It starts with the journey from Africa and travels through to the present day.
