Whether your child is taking their first steps on the stage or has already landed a leading role, the performing arts classes at The Rose will provide your child with theatrical opportunities unlike any other, all while having a lot of fun!

When your student enrolls in a class at The Rose, you can be assured that your child will learn from some of the best educators in the region. Rose teachers include professional actors, accomplished dancers, award-winning playwrights, highly-decorated directors, renowned choreographers and more.

Creating Bold Characters

This class feature a year-long curriculum that introduces young actors to script work. Students will begin in depth training of character development technique, improvisational acting and role drama. Students will also learn stage combat, prop design, auditioning techniques and more. Students will learn to build strong characters by strengthening vocal and physical choices through improvisation, puppetry design, performance design and adapting stories for the stage.
