Sign Language Interpretation
Select performances are interpreted for audience members who are deaf or hard of hearing:
•  Pete the Cat – Saturday, Sept. 19 at 2 pm
•  Ivy + Bean – Saturday, Oct. 17 at 2 pm
•  Sherlock Holmes & The First Baker Street Irregular – Saturday, Nov. 14 at 2 pm
•  Peter & The Starcatcher – Saturday, Dec. 19 at 2 pm
•  The Lightning Thief – Saturday, January 30 at 2 pm
•  Plastic Drastic – Saturday, March 5 at 2 pm
•  Honk! – Saturday, April 2 at 2 pm
•  Elephant & Piggie: We Are In A Play – Saturday, April 30 at 2 pm
•  Disney’s The Little Mermaid – Saturday, June 11 at 2 pm

Interpretation for the hearing-impaired is provided under a contract with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive listening systems are available for audience members who are deaf or hard of hearing during mainstage shows. Please contact the Box Office for information.

Autism-Friendly Performances
Select performances are designated as “autism-friendly,” which means special accommodations such as a private pre-show room and reserved seating are made for families attending with a child on the Autism Spectrum:

• Sherlock Holmes & The First Baker Street Irregular – Saturday, Nov. 14 at 5 pm
 Honk! – Saturday, April 2 at 5 pm

Accommodations at these performances will vary, but may include:

 A private room for congregating before the show.
 Special reserved seating area.
 A private post-show question and answer period.
 A helpful social story to prepare your child for their experience at The Rose.
 Reduced ticket prices (available by phone only).

Physical Disabilities
The Rose Theater offers wheelchair accessible seating on its main floor.  Depending on the size of the wheelchair, up to ten spaces are available per show.  If you require special seating, please call The Rose in advance to ensure availability.

An elevator with access to the mezzanine level is available to those who require it. Please see the Box Office for assistance.

Accessible Parking
Several parking spaces for patrons with disabilities are available on the street directly outside The Rose Theater.  Up to six spaces are available on Friday evenings. Ten spaces are available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Large Print Programs
Large print programs are available for guests with visual impairments. Please see the Box Office for information.
