Enriching the lives of children and their families
through live theater and arts education.

The Show Experience

Q&A + Autographs
Immediately following each performance, the actors from the show host a Q&A and then sign autographs.  The Q&A occurs on stage and children are encouraged to ask questions.  The autograph session occurs on the mezzanine.  Blank autograph cards are distributed to each child upon arrival.  In addition, the actors are always happy to sign books or other show items upon request.

Booster Seats
Thanks to a generous donation from Target, The Rose is able to offer its youngest patrons a boost!  Free booster seat rental is available on a first come, first serve basis in the lobby.  A photo ID is required.

Cry Room
Worried your child might make a fuss during the show?  Don’t be.  Simply exit the main auditorium and head to the “cry room.”  This noise-proof room is located just off the lobby and offers a television monitor for viewing the show.

Open vs. Reserved Seating
The Rose offers open seating at its seven regular season shows and reserved seating at its holiday show and summer musical.  Open seating means there are no seat reservations, and patrons are free to sit where they choose.  The lobby opens 45 minutes prior to show; the auditorium 15 minutes prior to show.  Seat selection is made on a first come, first serve basis.

To select your reserved seats for the holiday show and summer musical, please call the Box Office at (402) 345-4849.  A map showing the view from each section is available online.  If you don’t reserve seats at the time of purchase, the best available seats will be assigned to you.

Guild Boutique
Books and souvenir items related to each show title are available for purchase in the lobby before each performance.  The boutique is sponsored by The Rose Guild and all proceeds benefit Rose programming.

Concessions + Intermission
Cookies, soda, and bottled water are available for purchase during the intermissions of The Rose’s holiday show and summer musical.  All items must be consumed in the lobby.  The Rose’s seven regular season shows do not feature intermissions or concessions.
