We’ve hit our $5.25 million goal for the second phase of the capital campaign to repair, restore and weatherize the exterior of the historic Rose Theater! All of the scaffolding surrounding The Rose will be removed by mid-December, revealing the repointed brickwork and the over 400 newly molded and installed terra cotta decorative accents. Other aspects of the project, such as roof replacement and access to the interior of the rooftop domes, will help preserve the structural integrity of the building for years to come.
In January, we will kick off the final phase of the campaign with a goal of raising $750,000 for interior projects. This includes repairing the ceiling of the lobby and mezzanine and repainting the sky-themed mural in these two areas. In addition, the ceilings and The Rose main stage will be upgraded with new lighting.
Your support is needed to bring the capital campaign to a successful conclusion! Every dollar gets us closer to our goal – and helps ensure The Rose will serve not only our children, but future generations as well.
