Inclusion & Accessibility
We believe everyone should be able to experience the magic of the theater and our performances and classes are open to children and family members of all abilities. We are committed to removing obstacles and creating new opportunities for people with disabilities. This could include reworking lesson plans to include sensory and mobility modifications, providing ASL translation for students who are deaf and hard of hearing and providing professional development opportunities for our staff to better our understanding of accessibility.
The Rose Theater Mission
Inspiring young people and their families to discover the magic of theater, find their voices and enrich their communities.
The Rose Theater is home to the Omaha Theater Company — the only resident, touring, professional theater company in Omaha and one of the largest in the country!
The Rose is accessible to all children. No child is ever turned away for economic reasons. “Pay-what-you-can” evenings are offered for most productions. Thousands of tickets are given to local youth-serving nonprofits year after year.
