Daisies
Earn your “Courage Petal” badge by expanding your creative horizons while learning about and using your acting tools (body, voice, imagination). This workshop includes theater games and a behind-the-scenes tour of The Rose Theater. Workshops are offered from 1-2:30 on select Saturdays. The fee is $75 for groups of 25 or fewer.

Brownies
Earn your “Making Friends” badge while working with our professional teaching artists on pantomiming skills, voice exercises, character development, warm-up techniques, theater games, and improvisation.  As a grand finale, you can even perform a play on stage with your troop mates!  Workshops are offered from 1-3:30 pm on select Saturdays.  The fee is $120 for groups of 25 or fewer.

Junior Girl Scouts

Earn your “Playing the Past” badge by attending a show at The Rose and participating in a hands-on workshop led by one of our professional teaching artists.  Class content will address badge requirements and teach scouts how to use their acting tools (body, voice, and imagination) to explore a moment in history, create a character from that time period, and design a costume for their character.  Workshops are offered from 12-1:30 pm followed by a 2 pm show on select Saturdays.  The fee is $75 for groups of 25 or fewer, plus $10 per person for show tickets.

Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors

Cadettes will work towards their “Screenwriter Badge” and Seniors will earn their “Troupe Performer Badge” by learning about the artistic careers available in theater by working with professionals already employed in the field.  Three different 2 1/2 hour workshops in acting, playwriting, and costume, sound & scene design are available, as well as opportunities for fulfilling the badge’s service requirement. Ambassadors should contact Lindy Glenn for information. Workshops are offered from 1-3:30 pm on select Saturdays.  The fee is $120 per workshop for groups of 25 or fewer.
